Wales has a loads of things to see and do. These are my favorite things to do in Wales for kids.
Wales For Kids
Big Pit Mining Museum

When you go down the Big Pit you’re given a safety helmet and head light to wear. A real miner takes you down in the original miners’ lift shaft.
Ironkids Tenby

The Ironkids running race was 1.5 km. The course used part of the Ironman run course and finished in the Ironman finishers chute. All participants received a medal and t-shirt after finishing the race. It was open from 5 years to 13 years old.
Beaches

Wales has a lot of beautiful beaches. You can do surfing, diving and fishing around the Welsh coast.
Welsh Wildlife

In Wales there is a lot of wildlife such as Puffins, Dolphins, Seals, and Badgers. We could see the seals on the beach at Cwmtydu but they were too far away to photograph.
Welsh Castles

Wales has a lot of castles such as this one in Pembroke.
Welsh Food

We’ve had lots of yummy food in Wales such as Welsh cakes, cheeses, and black butter burgers.
Dr Who

Dr Who was filmed in Wales so there are lots of places to visit in Wales from Dr Who. Badwolf bay is a famous location where large parts of Dr Who was filmed and Llandaff, above is Leadworth Village.
The Welsh Flag and Dragons

These running shorts were on sale at Ironman Wales. They feature the Welsh colours and the Welsh Dragon which is the emblem for Wales.
